I love working underwater!
Unlike a studio figure study, the more you attempt to control the environment, the more you find that the water is in charge. Gravity gives way to buoyancy, and bodies drift in the currents. The sun plays randomly on the surface, sending streaks of hot light across the form. Model and photographer fight the fundamental urge to breath while also trying to focus on the task at hand.
I've been working underwater over the past five years, and I think it is sufficiently different from my other work to demand its own portfolio.
